Please Sky, put us out of our misery

Post by Salsa Caliente »

I'm sorry, but I'm getting sick of the drivel being spouted by Messrs Hemmings and Stephenson.

The scoreline of the first half being inspired in part by a ten point wind?!?! So the fact that Wigan out played them wasn't a factor.

And now, after a couple of tries you can hear the delight in their voices.

Never mind "Eddie & Stevo". More like "Bitter and Twisted"!!!

Memo to E. Hemmings

Please, for the love of God, stop wittering on about that blasted wind!!!!

The only wind is in that commentary booth. :eusa17: :eusa17:

I can put up with Stevo - for one thing he has played the game but the other muppet just gets on my nerves and not just because of his obvious anti-Wigan feelings. He was positively joyful at the end of the match. It used to be superb watching the Aussie matches, not just for the play but also because the commentators didn't intrude - I spent half my time ranting about Eddie instead of watching the rugby!

I'm disappointed with tonights result but what has made matters worse is the completely biased anti-Wigan commentary served up by SKY.

I may consider getting a pocket radio to listen to alternative commentary rather than continue listening to the inane ramblings of that pair of muppets!

In fact I think I'd sooner listen to an elephant farting the national anthem :)

I tried that at one point but the trouble is that GMR's coverage is a couple of seconds ahead of the Sky pictures so you knew what was going to happen before it came on the screen which didn't help a lot.

If you hid your earphones well enough you could claim to have the power of premonition and impress family & friends as to what would happen in the next few seconds :)

Could the three stooges who were sat in the Sky box after the game last night, have made any less of an effort to hide their glee that Wigan lost. The two jokes of commentators are always the same, even Nobby couldn't hide his happiness.

Agree totally with everything said about Eddie Hemmings in particular.
The extra time bit after the match was even worse!! (If that's possible)
At one stage Stevo had to reming Hair Piec Hemmings that Wigan also contributed to a great match.
Steve McNamara was gloating so much it made me want to be sick! I have never seen such a self satisfied smug expression on a mans face - you would think the Bulls had won the World Club Challenge. Of course, aided and abetted by Brian Noble.
I'm sure everybody must have wondered whu Hair Piece didn't ask Nobby at half time why Wigan were playing like a different team under MM?
Now I get the impression Brian Noble is going to claim MM has inherited a great team from him! The only difference is the fact that BN couldn't get them to play like MM is doing.

Last night there were 2 has-beens and 2 never-were's (along with the Cliff Richard of RL) - the sooner sky realise the damage that the RL equivalent of the chuckle brothers do to the image of the game and bring some fresh blood in the better.

Terry and Barrie Mac (and even Bill Arthur) are far better

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds
