Can one of the mods merge this with the other one please, can't do it at the mo. There's already a thread on idiots in the south stand in addition to these two. Whether the OP is right or not he was clearly aware of the other thread so why he felt the need to start another I have no idea, the reply button is there for a reason.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Drummer Boy complaints - Get a Life
Being a middle aged saddo why make a new thread. You should have posted this in the original thread.

However, I do not mind drums or anything provided they are played correctly and their use timed effectively. Some half wit with no drum skills banging repeatedly like a 2 year old is not good nor is the moronic incessant barmy arm chanting.

Personally I go to a rugby match to watch rugby. I go to the Bridgewater Hall to listen to non popular music.

You seem to be making excuses for the loutish behaviour of the moronic element that make the South Stand a no go for some fans. Throwing drink/food etc down from the top, trying to trip the people up whose job it is the bring the loyal 18 flag up and down the stadia and worse wanting to abuse fans/fight are totally unacceptable.

Yes we were all young and no we did not act like morons. Why because my father would have sorted me. I wasn't a ferril child. If you did something wrong you copped the consequences and did not bleat, blame others or look for compensation.

The scum element needs to be dealt with. Zero tolerance

CP ....Your father clearly didn't "sort you" enough, good manners for start...accusing me of being a middle age saddo. Implying that I support moronic behaviour... when I clearly stated in my posting that I didn't.... and dictating where I should post my opinion... personally don't see what it's got to do with you where I post my opinion? Sounds like we will have to bring the Halle Orchestra before your would be happy..... :conf:

Well well well

First and foremost I knew how to behave without needing to be beaten to a pulp etc because I clearly understood where the line in the sand so to speak was drawn.

A man needs to know his limitations

1). The opening sentence of my post that you totally misunderstood was referring to me and was sarcastic owing to you referring to anybody who had the opposite opiniobn to yours as a sad and needing to get a life.

2). Two moderators gave you a reason why creating a new thread was wrong. It clearly was so why make an issue of it.

3). The infantile 2 year old drummer that you seem hellbent on defending is part of a moronic mob that want to behave like prats at the top of the South Stand. Those morons including the drummer give everybody a bad name who sits in the South Stand. A stand I happen to sit in. Your post was having a go at decent fans fed up with such moronic behaviour and your attack upon them was not disguised by the cliche false condemnation of such behaviour.

4. Understand decent fans have had enough. So stop trying to defend the morons and anybody that is part of that collection of social misfits. Where do you sit at matches?

5). READ posts carefully before jumping in with both feet.

Mike Binder's weekly suggestion of 'mobile phone's should be used... seriously if anyone has a chance either home or away record these failed Uruk Hai and send to mike or the club at the email addresses shown. You'd be surprised at what 'evidence' the club has regarding their own intel.

Personally A & L I think it is all well and good Geoff, Mike saying inform the club but given the number of complaints and that this has been going on for a long time fans will start to say what is the point? Waste of time. All it takes is for the stewards to act like stewards.

When I spoke to Mick Hogan last week, he said he'd received "two or three" other emails about the issues. There are a lot more people than that, both on the message boards and around the town, who have commented on it, so it seems to me they're not contacting the club.

Certainly are Geoff. If you read here and RLfans (which I think Mick does) numerous posters have been complaining.

Cheers mi dear, I was on my Mobile or I'd have moved it myself.

Ancientbut loyal, sorry probably should have worded it better but its not a case of dictating where you can and can't post but you did know there was another discussion going on about the same topic that you knew about, it just keeps the site cleaner and on this particular subject when there are loads of threads all discussing trouble at games etc, it gives the impression that we have a widespread issue to any visitors on the site where this is clearly isolated to one section of the ground so I'm sure you understand that one thread is sufficient.
