Stains home game clash with England World Cup game
Re: Stains home game clash with England World Cup game
The football will be recorded in my house that is if my wife doesnt want owt else recording. If I find the time or I some help in sleeping I will watch the big jessies playing football,as far as I am concerned football comes very low down in my list of spectator sports.
I need a good cup of tea and a slice of success

Simple fact is;
Footballs spend 90mins pretending they are injured
Rugby Players spend 80mins pretending they aren't
I would hazard a guess that rugby league wipes the floor with most traditional sports in regard to ball in play.
Better sport plus its Wigan and St helens, id watch that over anything

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Wigan Warriors can today confirm that their massive derby clash with St Helens will take place on Sunday 20th June at the DW Stadium and tickets are now on sale.
The Warriors had been anticipating that the original Friday slot may change due to Sky TV coverage. Earlier in the year Sky amended their schedules to avoid clashes with key World Cup football games and the game will now have a 5.15pm kick off on Sunday.
Warriors CEO Mick Hogan commented:
"Wigan versus Saints derby matches are often referred to the biggest in the game and we are sure this will again attract a near sell out crowd. As such we would urge everyone who wants to come to the game to get their ticket as soon as possible,"
The last derby at the DW Stadium attracted 22,332, whilst Good Friday's final game at Knowsley Road saw a 17,500 sell out crowd witness the Warriors 18-10 victory.
