Did madge make a big mistake on Saturday ??
In dropping Feka and picking young Chris Tuson on the bench instead and then not bringing him on. Why pick him If he wasn't going to put him on. It was a waste of a sub IMO .

Dont know if it was a mistake in dropping Feca, but to pick a player and not have confidence to put him on makes you think. This makes it a 16 v 17 man game, more fatige, plus when you look at the lack of effort shown by Karl Price ,makes it a 15 v17 game .The biggest mistake IMO was playing Price.
Re: Did madge make a big mistake on Saturday ??
Yes he did but it is one of a few, if there are any more than that. Had he played Tuson then you could argue not but Feka for 5 minutes-10 minutes out of the 80 could have done a lot more for the team. Alas, plenty made mistakes too. I guess thats sport. Nobody is infallible.
Re: Did madge make a big mistake on Saturday ??
He may have done , but I trust Madge`s decision making skills as he`s been right up to now.
I agree that the Tuson business was bizarre ,but like CP says no one is infallable .

I believe it was a mistake and there is no logic in selecting someone then not playing them.Imo feka should be in the 17 every week, but obviously MM does not agree. He has got most things right this season but we are now out of the challenge cup and have only one chance left of winning a trophy.I will save judgement until the end of the season but i am not confident of winning the GF.

It doesn't look good for us if he's incinuating that we've only got 16 players that he thinks are good enough to compete against Leeds

Funny thing is Tuson was given a rateing of 7 in the Observer,he must have been given points for getting changed and putting his boots on the right feet.

I guess that if they had given him 0, or 1, that in 100 years time when a young lad visits Wigan museum to plug himself into the mainframe and looks at old newspapers that Tuson had a shocker of a game. Better to be positive. Would be funny thoughgillysmyhero wrote:Funny thing is Tuson was given a rateing of 7 in the Observer,he must have been given points for getting changed and putting his boots on the right feet.

I shall reserve my judgement re Madge until the season is no more.Would we even be raising the question if we win the grand final?Of course I like every one of us am sad at our exit. But lets be honest about it.The grand Final as become more important across the game than the challenge cup.End of season report is of more concern to me.
