Just came across this article
http://www.sporthull.co.uk/headlines/HU ... ticle.html
With Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook expected to leave Harlequins at the end of the season to move north, Quins may see Wheeldon as a replacement.
does this mean we are in the running for LMS?

hope not, highly overated IMO, imho he only gets the accolades from Grecian 2000 & Bald man due to the fact he is a southerner doing fairly good in a Northern sport down south, if he was a Northerner i doubt much would be said.

Lenegan wanted to bring him to Wigan but he had just signed a new deal at Harlequins.
As for next season he will be playing for St Helens, they have been in talks with him for a while.

lets be honest if he did leave quins the only way he could head would be north, seeing as catalans would not really have him.

Hope he does sign for us. Very mobile, great in defence, makes few mistakes, all round good solid prop.

The way i see it he would only be useful as a replacement for coley or feilden, what we really need is a peacock/graham esq prop a real powerhouse and turns up in every game guareneeing to make yardage. Something i feel we have missed since Craig Smith, im not sure LMS fits that bill

That's OK with me. He's an OK prop, but nothing special.
