2 posts on the official site regarding yesterday's game.
Post 1 stating:
Less than 1,750 tickets remain for Wigan fans at this afternoon's massive local derby against St Helens at the DW Stadium, with the TIcket Office opening at 12noon
With our 3 stands, that equates to 19,656 tickets sold as of Sunday morning.
Post 2 stating:
Wigan hit back in the second half and almost grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat in front of 20,498 at the DW Stadium.
I can accept that some Stains Fans may have bought tickets for the East or West, butthis means that there were only 842 in the away end??????
Is it a typo error in one of the reports??????

Re: Attendance, a question
The capacity is now around 24k for a non all ticket game.
Around 18600 home seats are available for a non all ticket game.
There were 1k+ seats empty due to the 10% unallocated seating rule.
1k unsold tickets in the Wigan end.
2k unsold tickets in the Saints end.
= 20k

Re: Attendance, a question
the ground capacity is 25314, but the 10% rule for the south stand is inforce due to it being unreserved seating, stains only brought around 3500 in the north so the 20400sh is about right
