I think fielden has been better than coley this year.

Still I think i'd rather get new props in than retain what we have in a perfect world. its the weakest part of the first team squad for me

Coley has been Wigan's best ptrop this season IMO and we miss him when he is not there as he not only defends well but offers something in attack which is not really the forte of Fielden.

with the loss of Coley and Feka we should be able to get a top class prop in and still invest in the reserves and academy.

Of course hes been better this season,it is almost impossible for him to have been worse or even continue in the pathetic form we have seen for the previous 3 years.Another contract though i cannot believe.

if you think he couldnt get worse then maybe you should watch other teams in the league, he just wasnt the best prop in the world.

Please excuse my ignorance, but is Coley leaving? I know his contract is up but he has had his best season for us and in recent games has proved to be very strong running the ball in to the tackle. As it been confiremed he is not getting a new contract/retiring?

IMo, and I haven't been to able to see that many games this year, Fielden has been better than Coley.
Yes Coley makes some hard yards, but he also makes more errors and is prone to giving away stupid penalties.

Coley has been oustanding this as has Fielden but Coley seems to give stupid penalties away Fielden doesnt , also heard that Coley was supposed to be retiring at end of season. Good deal to re-sign Fielden on less money hopefully he will bring invaluable experience to the younger memebers of the pack as has Bailey done this last season . Very Good times round again me thinks :)

Coley does give penalties away but Fielden has made quite a few errors himself this year. I would like to keep both.
