We are going to be so low on his list of priorities. His total focus will be on the Premiership and who can blame him? I just hope that in 12 months time his activities with Latics don't have an adverse effect on us. He might have a few bob but in terms of the premiership that's exactly what he does have -a few bob.
I really hope they don't come crashing back saddled with debts that could affect us in terms of player investment, ground rental costs, etc.

I read somewhere that Whelan has made it clear where his priorities do lie and he said he will spend whatever it takes on the Latics and it will come out of whichever fund he pleases since it's all his money. He has actually stated that heneeds to "temporarily" borrow the money from the Faz trust fund to take Latics to a training camp in Barbados as DaveO says.
