Brave words and after watching the game on TV, I agree to some extent. Wigan were their own worst enemy last night. 50 odd % completion rate and you'll struggle to win against anyone. Referee isn't to blame for that. However, what he is to blame for is chickenheartedness. Call Ganson what you will but he wont shirk on a big decision.
Bentham lost control of the game early on and allowed both sides but Hud especially to get away with spoiling tactics.

The game as a spectacle was in effect ruined by him. Apart from the obvious brilliance of Sam and Stu starting to show the form he is capable of, most of the game was rubbish.
Apart from when Ablett tried to decapitate Sam!

None of the referees have been up to scratch this season - bentham is the worst of a very poor bunch. Instead of poaching players from rugby union, perhaps we should try some referees - as I fear for RL when games are often dictated by the clueless blind muppet in the middle

Each to their own Cherry etc but I cannot agree re Deacon I think he is a stand in for injuries and nothing more at this stage in his career. His legs have gone and he is not directing the team around. I know he has a much vaunted kicking game but for me even Tommy kicked better yesterday.

What infuriated me was that Hudds came to Wigan to niggle, disrupt and muck us about. With the odd helping of violent conduct thrown in. And it worked!

I don't believe that Brown had forgotten about the Magic weekend and I feel he instructed his players to foul as much as they could get away with. Brown had even named Mason in his post match interview after the magic weekend as someone who'd sort it out.

Bentman just didn't deal with it, or wouldn't deal with it. What is it now, 4 or 5 games he's ref'd which we've lost??? I'm sorry but that aint just a coincidence.

IMO it's a bit of a shame for RL in general that a team can use tactics like this to successfully win a game. The cynical side of me thinks that had we done the same, there'd have been at least one red card shown by the biassed, wolf loving, bent, cheating scum bag in the middle!

Oh, I dunno?

We've been very good this year and lost either 4-5 times (can't remember) whilst being ref'd by him. We've only lost 6 games all season. Too much of a coincidence for me. I reckon there's something crooked about him.

We certainly won't get the rub of the green with him in charge.

i thought i was being 1 eyed but watched the game again ,by the way Eddie u r wrong the video ref does infkuence the game ,remember michael mc sending off against sts a couple of years ago.

well here goes ,Huddersfield 1st offence pulling back of Hanson in any ganme of rughby was a yellow card ,2nd offence Kevin Brown delebrate tripping of Sam Tomkins a red card at any form of rugby and possible cause for a penalty try, huddersfield 3rd offence Mason stamping red card offence any form of rugby ,fielden yellow card correct but huddersfield should of had another in the bin as mason should of got red.

Luke robinx=sons taking out of sam tompkins can clerly be seen eyeing sam up another yellow card offence in any form of rugby.

Now even worse that they got away with most of this the ref was the same 1 that yellowed carded Farrell for a so called late challenge at leeds .I have watched the game again i feel my opinion is spot on in al;l of this .

Oh by the way Nathon Brown should be cieted for causing the Mass Brawl, after his comments after the magic weekend.

Not sour grapes not my opinion just facts of a game the ref clearly again had no control of.

Kris Rads would not blame the ref ,and he asked wat do we do if he gets grand final ,simple answer to that is dont turn up because we will never beat BENTMAN
