Apparently Brett has been after a pub in Wigan for some time now. He put in for the Monty but the brewery sold it!

Re: Gaz Hock to Penrith
Do you know this for sure, as in it more or less came from the horses mouth?ddtftf wrote:Hock WILL be at Wigan next year, and for a few years after
There's word that the chairman of a nearby club has discussed this with one of their Wigan players. He purportedly said Gaz has signed a pre-contract agreement with Penrith and is way out of order, as Wigan have looked after him.
Does anyone know the legalities around this type of contract? Can he sign for anyone whilst his ban is still in place?
Re: Gaz Hock to Penrith
If you look on the back of one of today's RL papers you will realise why Hock has been offered a contract by Penrith. The article says rumoured to be linked but the person concerned is going there FACT unless he lied.
Gareth Hock IMO will hopefully honour his verbal agreement of a Wigan contract post ban but the Penrith bid is genuine and has turned his head so to speak.

Re: Gaz Hock to Penrith
As far as I am aware if Penrith have anything on paper, it is not legal as a banned player cannot have anything to do with any club.

Andy WIlson in the Guardian is saying Nobby is going to Penrith next season and that is why Gaz is linked with going.
Re: Gaz Hock to Penrith
As I said previously that is TRUE however;sheepsteeth wrote:Andy WIlson in the Guardian is saying Nobby is going to Penrith next season and that is why Gaz is linked with going.

A certain ex coach is pretending otherwise. Some would say telling porky pies but IIRC did we not have a similar pantomine with him and many fans decided to blame solely Lenagan. Maybe with hindsight they were wrong and their judgement of the character of Noble needs ammending.

My contact has confirmed this as well. It is the same cub insider that told me at the beginning of this season that we were chasing four Storm players.ddtftf wrote:Hock WILL be at Wigan next year, and for a few years after
Gaz had a meeting last week with IL.
