Richards had an immense game, which is why I waited til now to comment. Initially I was all for hanging him, but having calmed down after the flagrant cheating by the Yorkshire scumbags, I realise that nobobdy other than a yawnion kicker would have had much chance with those kicks.

I agree with you Josie the times we have played with 3 props Leeds in CC ,Warrington in league, tonight against Leeds and did we not play with 3 props against Saints

In all my years of watching Rugby League, I have never blamed a goalkicker for losing a game. They don't miss on purpose - Ask Don Fox!

And anyway, I think its bloody bad form to take a cheap shot at the seasons top try/goal/points scorer.

Hope Pat never reads this thread!

He can take the pressure, his results prove it!

We are on the upward curve to success, but we are not yet ready to win the big prize. We still lack the self belief of a champion side, but we are getting close.

Poor defence and lack of composure in a pressure game cost us tonight not Pat missing a couple of tough shots at goal.

You can't blame Pat I feel gutted for him :(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Could not agree more. Some awful defence and stupid penalties given away.

I'm gutted for the lads and it's not fair, or right, to start singling Pat for out tonight's loss.

There were a few times when it showed that Leeds had a game plan to get us rattled which collectively we fell for and led to some "brain farts".

All we can do is learn from it, move on and hope we have the strength of character to get through the play offs the hard way, because that's what it's going to take.

What's done is done.No need to single out our most consistent player. So he missed a few kicks from very acute angles.Do not remember Sinfield having a blinder until the team settled him down.Wonder what you would be saying if he had kicked the penalty?Would we be sat at the top of the league without his tries and kicking contributions? Any team in this country would be lining up with big offers should he become available even if he does miss the odd kick or two! It was a team performance that let us down not one individual! :D

Hell's teeth Pat has probably been our most consistent player all year and no way should he or anyone else blame him for what happened tonight. Would have been even sweeter than the 31-30 result (btw was that not a pressure kick to get us that particular win?) had he managed it but the guy is human and I feel desperately sorry for him - forget it Pat it most certainly was not your fault.
Some very nasty things from Leeds players tonight - hope they get their just deserts but somehow they manage to get away scot free with whatever antics they get up to.
Sorry the lads don't get a break next week but the positive for us is that we get to see them again and think they will get the job done next time.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
