bad week but lets get on with it !!!

Post by screamy18 »

last week was dissapointing to say the least on the pitch and the attendance. This week the attendance at the moment looks like its going to be similar. What i want to know is why is everyone not getting to down to support the lads like we have done all year ??
surely the play offs bring a bit more excitement to the game, especially this week with it being knockout.
so what i say is lets forget last week and everybody get behind the lads on friday night and lets cheer them all the way to old trafford !!

because we are in the middle of a recession with lots of cuts coming up. The play off games are not in with the season tickets... And if we make the Final its gonna all mount up! :conf:

I don't think there's much the club can do about play-off ticket prices as I think they're set by the RFL. We'll just have to make as much noise as possible because KR will certainly have a vocal support backing their team.

I reckon there'll be 1k Rovers fans at the most. Their away support has been dwindling season by season and Hull has been hit really hard by the recession.

Plus every play off game is on TV.
We have friends who didn't go last week for money reasons, and we've struggled to get the extra together for this weeks (unexpected) game.
Add to that possibly an away trip to Leeds and a Grand Final and its a big ask for a lot of fans to find that kind of money in the current economic climate.

It would be nice if the clubs would recognise the hardship of this for the fans, and include 1 or 2 potential playoff fixtures in the season ticket price in future.

Having said that, we are very grateful for the family ticket arrangement for the South this time - £34 for 2 adults and 2 children is a great deal, and one that should be applauded :)

Unfortunately, these aren't club tickets and I think to do this the club would effectively have to buy the tickets from the Robbing Fat Lardbuckets

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
