But it wasn't hindsight. I was saying at the time we should go for the two because it was already obvious it was going to be a tight game. Would the rest of the game been different so we don't know how it would have affected the result? Of course but it was still the wrong decision not to take the two at that time.

It was a poor decision especially given the fact that we chose to kick at goal in the second half. Why did our strategy change? Kicking at goal would have changed the game and therefore possibly the result.

I'm not so sure. Even in a tight game, I'm more in favour of running it (unless there are only seconds left on the clock). I was actually relieved last night when Dobson kicked for goal at 12-all.
