Please St Helens pick us!

Post by ancientnloyal »

I'm a traditionalist and would love it if we played st Helens at Knowsley Road, to return the favour. To win it would be an eternal brag, it won't happen again for another century or more! I believe Saints on paper would pick Warrington on past glories, their voodoo (thats if Hudds dont spoil the wire party) that is the sensible option. Ideally we would have picked Leeds if we won last week and I am confident that we'd beat them at Headingley.

But this chance wont come again, if we lose v Saints it wouldn't matter, we had a crack at the last ever game at KR!

Fate?!

I'm not bothered either. But if we are to get to the GF, it would be wonderful to pick up some fantastic bragging rights en route!

Would be even better to Beat the Nomads at old trafford dont you think? after gettting revenge on the cheating Whino's. Now that would be Bragging rights over everyone

Their fans want them to pick us but I have a feeling they won't because they will be desperate not to lose the last game at KR never mind win it (if you get my drift) and that might just get in the way mentally. It could work against them.

I want us to go to Leeds, we have some pay back against them not only for last week, but the last two times they have knocked us out at the last hurdle.

Third time lucky :eusa10: :eusa10:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
