I know thaty you can't write Hudds off, as on their day they are a classy team (as they showed us!!), but imo I think Saints will win comfortably.
It pains me to say it, however Saints have surprised my this year, they have done better than I expected. I expect a Wigan V Saints final...perfect if you ask me!

Positive Mental Attitude.. We need to believe, make the lads believe and we will do it.
C'mon the Warriors, don't let the dirty tactics of the Leeds team sucker you in, Play Rugby keep your heads and you will prosper x :exc:

As you say KW, Deacs could be back which is not a bad thing if he is up against Sinfield at 6.Kittwazzer wrote:As Marra said, a good kicking game is vital and could see us through comfortably. I will feel a lot more confident if Deacs is declared fit.
If he hadn't got injured last time out, we'd be playing at home on Friday night!
Although Sinfield is a good kicker and off-loads well, he isnt the fastest off the mark.
I would have had worries if Deacs was up against Mcguire.
Lockers played OK at Stand Off against KR, but as you said the up field kicking was not accurate.
If fit, I thought Leeds would have put Webb at 6, moving Smith to Full Back, we shall see. ( I have not seen the Leeds squad yet).

One thing that worries me is who gets dropped if Deacs is fit? My biggest fear is that Feka misses out and we go into the game with 3 props. Personally If Deacs is out I'd stick with last weeks 17 and if he's in I'd go for the 17 which lost to Leeds the previous week but with Feka in instead of Tuson.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Wigan by 14 or more would be justice served and a salutory lesson that cheats don't prosper.
Get through today and I'm certainly confident for next week after watching last nights match. War of attrition. Don't think Stains made a clean break all night!

If we just "punch the clock" and do our business as we have done all season, I expect us to get the win.
However, what we can't start getting into is being sucked into everthing that's been said through the media (namely various Leeds players and officials jawing off). Let's hurt them the best way we can... on the scoreboard.
Madge has done the right thing of adopting a "siege" mentality and not allowing the players to speak to the media, so the team's focus should be where it's at. The game tonight.
But Leeds are currently the champions for a reason - they will do whatever they have to to get the title, and whilst I don't like the Rhinos, they aren't donkeys.
Let's get in there, get the win and get out.
Come on lads, 80 minutes to the GF - your season has been built on hard work over 29 games, so far.
Keep The Faith, stick together and get the "w".
