I thought he was supposed to have been released, with no connection to the club whatsoever. Is this his registration that Wigan hold?cumbria_warrior wrote:Did anyone read the star today? Gaz Hocks agent says spoke to penrith but Gaz has stated unable to be released from wigan agreement

not sure what connection still has with wigan, just what I read, its not the first time read this either. So it is looking like the 'as long as proven clean' approach mentioned on numerous occasions could be true and Gaz will be back playing in june when ban is up

I could not give a damn who he is going out with Hock is a cheat,he let down everyone and i hope he goes to Penrith or anywhere , if he does come back then some one like Tucson or Farrell will end up elsewhere due to lack of opportunities in the squad.Get rid now

You are entitled to your opinion about Gaz Hock and, whilst I don't agree with it, which is my right, that comment is an insult to the best coach we have had since Graham Lowe!old hooker wrote:

That's your opinion and that's fair enough. But, I don't think he's a cheat. They weren't exactly performance enhancing drugs. He's been incredibly foolish and has (like you said) let himself and his team mates down. That said, he's served his time and should be allowed a 2nd chance. It's old ground, but should anyone caught drink driving be banned for life? Not IMO.old hooker wrote:I could not give a damn who he is going out with Hock is a cheat,he let down everyone and i hope he goes to Penrith or anywhere , if he does come back then some one like Tucson or Farrell will end up elsewhere due to lack of opportunities in the squad.Get rid now

OH will you ever be happy
Gareth Hock did not cheat. He broke a rule for use of a social drug. He was wrong to do so and got punished for it. A silly boy yes but a cheat NO. Is Ricky Hatton a cheat? I could go on and on.
Wigan follow the rules but trust me Gaz is the most tested / most watched player in RL.

wake up old hooker, 80% of todays youth are taking recreational drugs, not performance enhancing and yes wrong but its a part of youth today, yes wrong but everyone learns through mistakes. So you never drank when underage? still law breaking

there are players in Superleague now that have come back from performace enhancing drug bans, and it is nevr mentioned now. Ryan Hudson got done for it, served his time, came back, end of!

Of all illegal substances available on Britain's streets, less than 1% are seized by the authorities. Legalising supply and usage would not affect the number of users. It would however eliminate the market which allows the big boys to live lives of untold luxury and hedonism!
Re: Gaz Hock to Penrith
I told you all, he is at Wigan on a 5 year deal, see you all at the Grand Final Next Year with G Hock as a 17 stone prop forward. I said Mason of HKR I ment Huddersfield, must keep off the Jack Daniels when I am on here.
