Re: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!
words can not describe the feeling, hope we win nex week because this week feels as good as lifting the trophy
Re: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!
I agree with on both your comments, "gpartin". The Defence was Orsum, Orsum, Orsum. Thanks Nobby too for his stint with Wigan. He had the same players apart from the few that were released during the season.Which weren't getting much game time anyways & was getting bagged for it. Carmont I thought had a blinder at defence, one end of the field to the other,& some of his
tackles were boomers, his attack was good too. Deacon's kicking made a heck of a difference, resulted in two tries. Hopefully Tommy & Sam can get some kicking practice in this
week to help Deacon & themselves out kicking wise. Was good to see Fieldon compose himself against JJB & put it in his game.Goulding's improving every game. The Players have paid their dues to the fans this season, next weeks game should be for themselves & each other."THE TEAM". Thanks for an entertaining GAME BOYZ.

Re: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!
great performance from the lads tonight. my one concern is our kicking game. i know the lads will be giving 110% in training but i think Sam, Deacs, Tommy and Lockers need to stay behind after training and work on their kicking game, we cant wait til the other team are on the ropes before getting in some good kicks. if we kick saints off the park next saturday in the first half and put that together with the tatical game we know we can produce we can have a confident attitude going into half time and then the forwards can batter them in the scond half and we can be CHAMPIONS!!!

I'm a teacher in Leeds and all my students have been winding me up about how great Leeds are all week...
I sense they might be a bit quieter this week.
Wearing my shirt for work on monday.
Thought Carmont was outstanding at times. His tackle on the penultimate set before we won the ball back at the end in the corner to wrap up Hall with a man outside him was perfect technique.
Prescott suddenly looked a monster?
Made my year. Thanks Madge and the boys.
After all the grief they give us, a Leeds fan gave me a high-five [not a punch] and wished me well on my walk home from Headingley.

I really am not sure what to say after yesterdays game, I don't think losing my voice helps though.
After the pain of recent years this season it has just clicked and the staff and squad should be very proud of their efforts, this is also the case for the long suffering fans. Yes the Grand Final has not been played yet but in the context of everything this is my greatest season as a Wigan fan, even though we have had good times in 1998 and 2002 I was much too young to appreciate them but one thing for sure is that I won't be taking this season for granted as we have yearned for a Grand Final place for seven long excruciating years.
A lot of the plaudits have gone to Sam Tomkins and Pat Richards this season but every player can hold their head up high, yes that includes Karl Pryce too.
Nobody will assume that we will beat St Helens next week but I am just going to enjoy the occasion and have a splendid time and hopefully we don't have to wait another seven years for the next one.

we watched in Cherry Gardens, well I say watched I chewed my nails more but oh boy what a fantastic game, defence was awesome, hard to pick a MOM but if Pat doesnt get MOS I will be most surprised.
Madge has made an epic difference and I for one will be there next weekend to cheer and scream and show my appreciation, coz after all who are stains anyway?

Re: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!!!
I'm not really bothered about the fact that Leeds ripped the ball as all teams are guilty of this. What really upsets me is how much of this is missed. Knock ons are an other concern. Just what are the touch judges doing whilst play is going on? If the touch judges miss so much then I see the reasoning of those that wish to see the introduction of a second ref. But this is a debate for another day. This is a day for celebrating the fact that we beat the Whino's by playing Rugby and not getting drawn into gutter rugby as the whino's would have liked. So all I can say is a very well done to the lads.

It wasn't the first time he has done it against Leeds this season but Gleesons cheeky little try last night was such a beautiful moment.

Did anyone else have the fortune to be near some very bitter whinos on the way out last night, I have never come accross a more bitter and deluded bunch, they really believe that maguire was not cheating when he got injured at the DW.It is impossible to argue with such dumb yorkshire idiots, they then resort to C'mon you saints.Told them that proper rugby league order had been restored because all the honours would be held by Lancashire clubs. Went down like a cup of cold sick.
