I got a permit

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Thing is with the metro (and then trains) the metro station at OT gets very full and busy so some may miss the last trains from Victoria or Oxford Road etc... just double check train times... the hull v saints final we just caught the last train to daisy hill (and ended up walking 3 miles home)

Parking for Grand Final
Anyone got any info or advice on best places to park around Old Trafford?
Been a while since i've driven to a match there!
Not too bothered about having a bit of a walk, just could do with a quick getaway after match

Differing things. someone suggested the Lowry carpark (but you'd need to buy something to redeem your stay). quite a few good carparks near the war museum few minutes walk... trafford centre then get the bus in (or walk)... tbh I'd get off the second junction at the trafford centre and go down that road loads of decent secure car parks

I think you cannot go wrong parking on the Lowry Retail Outlet Car Park. Nice and secure and you can buy a drink or food, anything and get your ticket redeemed for 4 hours. If you have some food at one of the restaurants you get 6 hours redeemed.

Always parked at the old trafford cricket ground in the past. It's a but of a walk to the ground, but you're right on the motorway and it's secure parking. Don't know for definate they will be opening it up for parking this year, but they always have in the past.
