Define bigger? More talk, gossip, press coverage more known names, personalities, TV viewing figures for which sport?

Soccer is such a piddling game in town why on earth do they need a larger stadium?

Isn't all this acedemic? I mean, heartfelt congrats to Latics for doing the unbelievable but does anyone really think they have a long term future in the Premiership? To be honest I never even considered it. Mind you, look at Bolton....

Yes most go to Man U, Liverpool, Everton, Man C and even Bolton and Blackburn. Even in Wales more go to watch them than Welsh clubs. Wrexham will get 4,000 at home on average i can gurantee that at least 10,000 from North Wales goes to Liverpool and Manchester for each game.

Supporting your local team has gone and that is a real pity. Go to Anfield or any other major ground in the Noth West and youll here cockney accents and geordie accents there.
