To be fair, I have always said I don't know why anyone would want a runners up medal. same for silver & bronze in the olympics, If you haven't won, you may as well have come last.
Just a personal opinon.
However, not congratulating an opponent is just wrong.

Fine. But when you are a Runner Up in the Grand Final, the Rugby League awards you a medal to commemorate your achievement in being there.

To throw that medal away in such a public manner is an insult to the sport itself!

The Baby starts before the match actually kicks off!!

I have watched and watched and watched time and time again, annoying my wife has i keep rubbing it in that Stains Lost, but when the players walk out at the beginning from the tunnel.

"Big Baby" Graham is covering his face and his ears because of the fireworks going off, made me laugh has he nearly walks into the super league trophy on the stand. Think that was as close to it that any one Stains player got!

Saints were a top team when he arrived and Mick may have better success at Bradford when he says “OK. You guys have hit rock bottom. Let's sort it out together”. Certainly at Bradford he will not have the problem of egos because there can't be any right now!

I wonder if Potter is another Noble - good enough to bring a team up from nowhere to reasonable (as he did with Catalans), but not good enough for a top side. I don't remember him doing much when he was at St. George.

Not sure Potter coached much at St George if at all Geoff. Possibly at a very low level. He was an assistant at the Bulls, then Catalans, then Saints. I personally think Potter did a decent job at Saints who were in a transition period when he took over.

I think Saints was a minefield of internal politics with the older players having a huge amount of influence. Probably too much. Anderson was a disciplinarian extraordinaire. Twice in the NRL it has not proved successful beyond a short impact lasting a season or so but at Saints it seemed reasonably successful. Would it have lasted?

James Graham needs to go to Aus which will make or break him. I think it will be the making of him.

It is appalling that Graham's petulance continues to go unpunished. Wellens needs to wind his neck in too and cut out gestures to the crowd.

Love where Sean stores his though!
Same as you Botica. I said to my son at the time that i did not see Graham go up for his medal. I think he was on his hands and knees looking for his dummy.Mind you it could have been the tears in my eyes making me blind.

Regards , EW

PS Cunningham showed class at the end of the game.
Just watched the match (again!!) and did not see Graham go to collect his medal. Sky apologised for Tommy's slip (which for me and others I know went un-noticed until Sky dir apologise) but the filth from Graham's mouth when packing down into a scrum close to the end wasn't mentioned.

re:- Cunningham - I was very impressed with his manner at the end of the game and seemed to be getting on more with the Wigan players than the Stains..
