Probably the most unpopular player but

Post by jobo »

Should we keep Karl Price?

Along with his size, his potential is massive. I for one think we should persevere for at least another season.

Can't help feeling that someone just needs to find the right button to push and he'd be a world beater. Maybe taking a chance and playing him in the pack against a side like Leeds who would really try to rough him up might be the spark.

Either way I believe he's worth another go.

Pat's injury may help him. Personally no, but I can see him staying.

He's A lovely lad to speak to and although he's made some improvement in his game this season, I don't think we should keep him, he's too dear to keep playing in the reserves.
But ya never know.

I'm now beginning to wonder. The fact that neither have managed to find a place anywhere else should mean that their salary value is pretty low.

I wouldn't mind keeping them on relatively low wages; offer them say £20k and if another club outbids us, fair enough.

Phelps is not the best player on the field by far.I would however offer him an new contract albeit being on reduced monies.Although I suspect he was not on big monies at any time. He at least is a man who tries to give his all unlike Pryce. He is a versatile player and can provide cover in several positions.I also look at the turn around of form with several player under the guidance of Madge.Namely S.Fielden who I thought should have been let go of.But seems like a totally different player under Madge. And Phelps not being a bad player could come on in leaps and bounds with the right guidance.Unfortunately for him he's suffered a few injuries thus prventing him gaining valuable play time.Anyhow I personally like the kid and hope he gets a deal. :D
