Well MrsLam you have now lost any respect I had for you. If you can come on this board saying that that was good enough, You have lost it, that was probably the best our lads can play, but I certainly don't see it as you do, it is'nt good enough, we deserved to lose, as yet again we only played for 60 mins.

WE_NEED_A_COACH !!!!
There's a lot more improvement to come yet, and it will, but today was a big step in the right direction.

All we need now is a fullback, and a few games with a settled team.
The problem with a lot of people on this board, is that you are to easily pleased.

WE LOST AGAIN !!!

Do you ever see it my way though? That's the whole point of having an opinion.
I don't see it your way either, it was a very good performance. As Geoff said there were a lot of nice moves in it but then again Im still wearing my cherry tinted specs aren't i? You are never going to be happy with this team no matter what they do.

Hmmm or we could see it the other way that some people are never happy?

Nobody will do a better job than Betts in our present situation.
Anderson took Cronnulla to the bottom of the NRL. Look where they are now under a coach that we sacked!
only person that lost us the game today was Klein.

Behave.

Klein doesnt pick the team or create the game plan.
Betts will say the usual of we were unlucky and will train hard for the next game crap.

If players arent good enough drop them and play youngsters to keep, them on their toes instead of picking them on reputation!!!

And in his last 2 jobs. He won the Ashes with the poorest Kangaroo side in years and took the Gwent Dragons into the top 5 in the Celtic League.

Gwent teams are usually the whipping boys in Union in Wales. Also is he not the most successful origin coach ever.

On that note, betts does not disallow perfectly good tries! And drop moran and let coyle have a crack, he cant do any worse!

Of course they could.

Have at look at the interchanges Betts did today on the Sl web site. He is clueless in this aspect of the game and when you consider the team falls apart in the last 20 mins regularly you might think he would use a bit more imagination to get his players to last longer or come on fresh or to introduce some different tactics.

That is just one aspect of his inexperience showing through.

Couldn't really see the Newton or dallas disallowed tries to say if they were or not, but apart from those, he was pretty even (not that good, just equally bad for both sides).

As for Moran, I thought he was much better today, apart from that silly intercepted pass late on (Nat Wood, I think). Kicking game was much better, found space a lot more than has been the case recently.

On another note, Tickle was doing a lot of the talking, and I didn't see Newton doing much "captaincy". Wonder if he might get a go as captain till Rads gets back?
