Might sound a funny one, but Sam getting up and showing no effects from the horrific cheap shot Ablett put on him, shows just how tough Sam is

Got to be when Phil Clarke walked on the pitch at Headingly at the Final Eliminator after the Danny McGuire comments and every Wigan fan was chanting and Leeds moaning as usual! OHHHH, and that impressive win that followed!

What sticks in the mind most are Gleesons cheeky tries, especially the ones against Leeds.

The away win at Leeds after (The Cheat) McGuire stole the result in the Grand Final run in at the DW.
The performance at Headingley that night showed Wigan are true champions.

I will never forgive Leeds and McGuire for that. Especially the way they tried to make out Wigan were the villains of the piece. Cheers to Clarkey for getting off the fence on Wigan's side!Panchitta Marra wrote:The away win at Leeds after (The Cheat) McGuire stole the result in the Grand Final run in at the DW.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Your moment of 2010 (excluding Grand Final)
I can`t comment on Wigans memorable moment but I can tell you that on the Thursday 22nd April approx 3pm when I found out the penalties handed down to Melbourne Storm I was absolutely gutted. I couldn`t really talk to anyone for a few days.. I cried when the whole team walked out with Craig Bellamy to face the media for the first time.I cried when the team ran out for the game( first game after penalties handed down) against the Warriors and heard the deafening roar from the supporters that were at the ground that day.I was at the last game of the season when we beat the knights. At the end of the game there was a very sad farewell tribute to our departing players.( I ran out of tissues). I must say what an awesome effort the players put in to raise $150,00 for their nominated charities each week. So they did have a purpose for playing out the rest of this Horrible season.
I just want to say that after the way the players and Coach handled the situation this season I am a LOUDER,PROUDER STORM MEMBER

You seem to enjoy a good communal cry Stormfan. I reckon you'd make a good Scouser!
