I admire your method for defusing a rumour that "is too dangerous to post". Reiterate the rumour, only with extra detail.
I didn't create the thread I do think several people judged/treated the thread creator harshly. Incredulously, Grimmy then tried to make it into something it never was.
It is a liable issue so personally I would have said nothing even though I and many others knew the supposed rumour before the thread was ever created. I hope it is not true.
Correct me if I am wrong but this is not the first time you have run a post "something is about to break but I can't tell you what" You may have knowledge but you supply no information, You start a thread that can cause guesses that may hurt an innocent parties. You put it in the rumour mill but it should be in Other topics because it does not contain a rumour. Time you put up we think.

You've been pretty harsh Jim. Jobo has said that he hasn't elaborated on the rumour because he didn't think it was so serious when he first posted. You're showing concern about the feelings of a player who hasn't even been named, yet by disregarding the explanation given, you're showing ZERO concern for Jobo's feelings by effectively accusing him of Lying amongst other things. I'm sure he's mature enough not to lose too much sleep about this but since you'd be the first to complain if it was directed at you Jim I genuinely think you owe Jobo an apology. Meanwhile, if the player who is offended by NOT being directly accused of something he HASN'T done anyway, would reveal himself to us, it would help us avoid any potential legal issues, thanks. The last time I wasn't the victim of unfounded allegations, I was devastated that so many things I hadn't done were being discussed by people I didn't know on a forum I didn't read.

Correcting you because you are wrong. I haven't posted anything like this before. I rather stupidly started this thread because I'd been told something but hadn't got the full story, and was sceptical as to the truth of it, hence the question "anyone else heard anything".
As for putting up, you know the details and no doubt the name will surface sooner or later but you wont hear it from me.
