Shame really.
Friday, 13 May 2011
Crusaders v Wakefield, 20:00
Leeds v Catalans Dragons, 20:00
Salford v Hull FC, 20:00
Warrington v Castleford, 20:00
Wigan v Harlequins, 20:00
Saturday, 14 May 2011
Huddersfield v St Helens, 18:00
Sunday, 15 May 2011
Hull KR v Bradford, 15:00
is not the best fixture list round. The 27th would have been great as KR v Wigan and Leeds v Wire are proper British RL games. Wigan might do something for the Quins game though like a special even. Quins only bring 50 fans max. No Away fans just does not create the same atmosphere.

Re: Magic Weekend at Round 1 a good idea?
From what i can gather theres only been 30,000 tickets sold for both days so far. Which seems to say that ittrue its a bad idea.
Ive also heard that the RL came up with an idea to get clubs to sell more tickets by offering a cash incentive (50k ive heard) to the club who sold the most tickets. One club that had sold very very few tickets have given all their season ticket holders 2x £12.50 which totals £35k.The RL would then bill the club for the 35k but because they sold the most tickets they would get 50k and would make a proffitt of 15k.If this is also true it makes a JOKE of the RL.
