Never found it like that, got into a ritual over the years, pre match congregating to the right of the door and post match over in stalkers corner. Good banter and the Riversiders raise a hefty amount through the years for the academy. Just feel a little dissapointed that won't be having our first get together of the season (and a chance to deprive a few people of a fiver for the preds league)
Will have to make do with a plastic glass from the bar in the ground instead

It wasn't a case of whinging just for the sake of it. I'm sure I read somewhere that it had been made official that they bar was closed and had been reserved by the RFL.

It wasn't a case of whinging just for the sake of it. I'm sure I read somewhere that it had been made official that they bar was closed and had been reserved by the RFL.

Several posters stated that the bar was an RFL invite only. Maybe they can post and let us know. I for one didn't attempt to go because of what they posted

Bilko posted it on Facebook and I've never known him get his facts wrong. Sorry guys!

We went to Newtown Workingmens and it was mint. Better beer at lower prices and faster service. May make it a regular haunt!
