I write after tonight. Ladies and Gentlemen of the board, we mostly all support Wigan Warriors. We're supposed to have good young players. We most certainly do...(See u21's record). However tonight, Betts said himself, we have our strongest side out.

We lost. This to me exemplifies the uselessness of Denis Betts as a Head Coach. I did support him, and I still support the players, but tonight's made my mind up.

No more excuses.
I have supported the team through bad times and tonight my hope really had started to build after the first half performance. But the second half was shocking and at the end I wernt angry i just stood there in shock. I thaught to myself lets give it time when we have all the players back we would do well and that tonight was our full strength team for the season and we got beat not by saints, bradford or leeds but huddersfield! We want Millward.

I agree with some of the other posts on here that as fans we need to stick by the players and the club!
However they must also realize the fans are not going to keep spending there hard earned cash for this standard of Rugby!!
I've said it before and it's about time people at the top listened...DENIS BETTS IS NOT UP TO IT!!
I'm fed up with hearing excuse after excuse this season...to many injuries, bad ref,bad pitch, its a complete joke!!
The problem is simple..we have a guy who has been thrown in at the deep end and is slowly starting to sink further and further down and unfortunately he's taking our team with him. What is Mo going to do?Wait until we are sat there at the bottom with Leigh and Widnes??The last two games especially the 2nd half performances have been way below standard for a Wigan side, and after tonight's defeat he can't put the blame on injuries..PLEASE GO NOW DENIS!!!!

Betts doesn't miss tackles or drop passes. Yes, the second half was as awful as the first was brilliant, but that's down to the players, not the coach.
If you want to point the finger at any of the coaching staff, it was our defensive display in the second half that cost us the game - that's Farrar, not Betts.

No the first half was'nt brilliant, they gave us 2 tries, apart from that it was pretty even, in the second half, we could'nt compete against 12 men !!!

This is now the worst ever Wigan SL team , no question, no excuses, no Betts !!!!

I do not want Millward.

I can't believe we threw that game away, someone has to do something 18-0 and we lose. It's just heartbreaking to watch us once again let the come back happen. What exactly was said at half time, because whatever it was did NOT work. There were some good moves in the first half and I thought we might have been in with a chance, was really pleased with the two interceptions and thought Moran might start to show signs of clever play.

To be honest today, I thought we'd start off badly while we got used to playing as a full team in a real match and then second half we'd get better but it was the opposite, we did well for a while in the first half then slowed down, and slipped away. No fighting power at all it's such a shame.

betts trains the lads. Betts picks the team and when we lose he must take some of the blame. The lads didnt have a clue in the sh.

Right there, not a clue in the second half, we were standing around waiting for the pass. I remember at one point Hudds were standing still receiving a pass and we laid off him. What was that about? Tackle FFS, we can't hang about and let them run at us. We needed to apply a lot more pressure than we did.

The who do you suggest. I agree he is not the most popular choice amongst us but he is the best. Unless we got Shaun Edwards or Chris Anderson then its got to be him.

wigan should be ruthless like they used to be! never mind give dennis the assistants job! get rid of him and farrar.why should we spend our salary cap on people who dont perform! if you went to work tommorow and didnt do your job as it was required you would get sacked! we dont have room anymore for sentiment.wigan this season have to concentrate on staying in super league. as we have no chance of a trophy. im sick of hearing about how unlucky we where and we made to manny unforced errors. results are what im intrested in and wigan are not giving them to us and its well below the expected level everyone has come to expect.if dennis betts has any feelings for wigan whatsoever he will resigne now and let us move on. :(

I do agree that we really do need a change and I also realsie that for Wigan, anything below top just isnt good enough. I'm just trying to find positives to say in the midst of all the glooom. It is hard to part with money when the quality of rugby we're seeing isn't up to scratch, but hopefully we'll find that spark we really need, I relly don't want to say a bad word against Betts becasue I really like him and I know his heart's in it, but I think most people will agree that a change of coach would be a good solution to our problems in the short term. We haven't had an experienced coach of top quality for a while. Its just a shame that Betts couldn't be another West, although a reason for this could be that squad is too shallow.

We dont expect to be top, we do expect to be well coached and compete against the top sides, not lose at home to Huddersfield and have them do the double over us, we expect our side to play to a certian standard, we dont expect to lose 8 games in the first half of the season, excuses have run out now, it's time for a change.
