What you all have to realise (as Storm fans already know) EVERY team builds themselves up to play the premiership team.Opposition teams will be on a mission to beat Wigan just to see where they are placed for the season. Stop worrying so much if you lose one or two games. Wigan will be ready at the right end of the season.

It was Sh*t hot last year!!!! and now we have just stopped doin what we do. Were not passing the ball round like we did last season in attack and our sliding defense has slid to a stand still!!!!!! :eusa17: :eusa17: Bringing a couple of new players on board doesnt stop all that. I just hope we start next week in the same way we finished the last 15 mins.

Stormfan, for the last 20+ years opposition teams have raised their games against Wigan. Even when we were at relegation risk, everyone wanted our scalp. We won the CCF 8 years in succession which will never be forgotten or forgiven!

Wouldn`t you rather your team to work on the problems now than later on in the season. You have some new players in your team and the whole team have to learn all new plays.Give them a chance to work on it. You are still near the top and in your opinion not playing great.When everything clicks for the team they will be hard to beat.

Stormfan is right. There is a difference between playing teams as reigning champions and just an aspiring challenger. Likewise there is a difference between playing 'lesser' teams at their poorer home venues and then playing them on the big stage, our home. The pressure upon the Wigan players is huge. We can either add to that pressure or relieve some of it.

Fans need to understand this is a YOUNG team. Remember 2010 pre season? We haven't signed anybody bar Deacon, why not, we need more, better players!! It actually worked out okay. New players take time to bed in, for their team mates to get used to their traits and so forth. Why have Wire hit the ground running? Only added a player on the wing or centre? Look how poor Saints were in the early rounds. Maybe it takes time? Leeds are all over the place. Change after change for 2 seasons. A new coach. A coach that says that last night was by far the best they have played this season yet they only got a draw v a 'garbage' Wigan team. A 'garbage' Wigan team that outscored them in terms of tries.

I do not care what anybody else is saying but the commitment of the team in 2011 is without question. Look how difficult are to break down. Defence epitomises commitment and teamwork.

As we add a few more returning players things will get better and better. The younger players are gaining experience and will grow and be better for it. We have still only lost 1 game to an excellent team. There are spells in virtually every match when you see the real Wigan. If we extend those periods then other teams are going to take a beating.

KEEP THE FAITH otherwise it comes across as embarassing and acting like an infant child throwing all their toys out of the pram.

SHOUT YOURSELF HOARSE FOR THE TEAM, RAISE THE ROOF - Inspire the team, our club. Passion can be positive / negative. Let's make it positive!!!

Being a newcomer to rugby league and supporting Wigan should you not support the team through the good and bad times. We went to the Warrington game and fans were leaving in droves there were not many of us left to support the team at the end. Its only the second time I have been to DW stadium but it seemed like a home game for Warrington we could not hear the Wigan fans cheering their team on.

Absolutely 100% correct. If we can get a result like we did last night when not playing anything like to our potential it is going to be a whole different story when we click back into place. I fear a lot of people are not making allowances for what the WCC took out of our players as that was one hell of a game. Other super league teams have suffered immediately after one of those games and we are no different. I have faith and just know we will come good. Thanks for your wise words stormfan :eusa2:
