did anyone else hear Mr Hemmings in the dying minutes of the game when Phil Clarke praised our come back Wiggy said in very snide tone that we were out played, now if that had been his beloved Wolfs or Saints with that same comeback he would have been multi orgasmic and it would have been the most amazing thing since moses parted the red sea, talk about bitter, that has to be most bitter i have ever heard him be, the sooner that guy is gone the better.

Unbelievably, he's actually getting worse. He fails to hide his dislike at all now, nor does he disguise it. It's a pity he and Stevo have been retained for so long because the game is great and I actually thinks Sky visual presentation of the sport is very good and allows even those with limited understanding of the game to enjoy it but those two reduce the package to a very low level.

Whenever the evidence suggest he was wrong with an anti-Wigan call, he either ignores it compeltely or just glosses over it.

I'm starting to wonder if he has been told this might be his last year so his lack of impartiality is a case of 'I'm off anyway so sod 'em'

By the way, being a grey head myself, I'm truly jealous that he has managed to retain such a (ahem) natural colur at his age.

If we were outplayed we were outplayed by a team who actually blew more chances than we did. They had the vast majority of possession and should have been 20 odd points up at half time. Rugby is not all about flair in attack but it clouds the judgement of commentators if a team throws the ball around a lot and regularly offloads the ball. Leeds had tries disallowed but Eddie was talking about them as an achievement to Leeds but they were disallowed because we put pressure on them defending the line as we have done all season. Failing to score is never an achievement!
The match was drawn and neither team was outplayed, we just took a 'while' to get going. If having a lot of possession and failing to convert it into points is outplaying someone then Hull and Huddersfield both outplayed us this season.
