Shell shocked by this appalling performance. I have no explanation for it at all other than off the field distractions.
If there is any truth in the rumour about Madge leaving then it needs sorting ASAP.

As I say to my wife, I'm always right in the end.
First I've heard of that Tony. But it makes sense and answers some questions!

yes you can blame one player because last night not only was finch pathetic in all aspects of the game he was and has been in all the games hes played A DISRUPTIVE INFLUENCE usual patterns and set plays didnt happen because Gods gift to rugby stopped them. At one point lockers directed a play and Finch shouted the opposite!
Our senior players must have been told do what Finch says because he is Mr wonderful and when he wasnt we just looked sad and confused
Sam should never have been at full back ever
We need a natural full back
and a clever crafty hooker. Micky Macs a nice guy and good in defence but he telegraphs every pass
imo Henderson was the MOM he constantly confused from dummy half.
Drop Finch
give the others a boll***ing and roll on next week

mate i dont thinkfinch can be blamed for all the kos poor plays poor ruck play or poor passing but as you said he is diruptive spot on before they signed him i was on edge as at all his clubs hes been a bit of trouble maker so why sign him with deacs n sam i feel we do need a class stand off to mentor sam sam powell n joe mellor but we might aswell had kept tim smith... we need tommy at 9 n need a full back

I was a bit disgusted with some in the south stand last night. Yes we were cr*P but even so is there any need for supposedly LOYAL SUPPORTERS to chant and clap for the opposition team, and then have the face to shout about people leaving early.

I don't see how Finch can be totally to blame, the halves will struggle if the forwards aren't doing their job, and it seems that last night, no one in a Wigan shirt did their job.

Not true. Pat was great for his first game in 7 months, Joel had his best game in ages and Stefan ran his blood to water. Finch did nothing. Either he doesn't understand the game plan or the rest of the team didn't. He is a very poor signing on the evidence of his first 3 games!

hi guys,

this is he first time i have posted on this site, my brother whos user name is god told me about where i can discuss wigans performances etc.... here goes.

I have been watching Wigan for 20 years since i was 7 years old, and that last night was the worst performance i have witnessed what i can remember anyway!! i felt really upset by the lads performance!!. I will not be embarresed to say this but i did the wigan walk first time i have ever walked out 30 mins before the end of a game, i know we have had some drubbings over the last few years but that performance takes the buscuit. I feel something has gone seriously wrong behind the scenes, the lads dont seem to be on the same wave lenght, there was no leadership, no direction, no commitment and no desire to play last night. We really miss piggy for his directon and experience around the ruck. Last season we had a leadership team which worked fantastically, why have we changed things what haven broken? I felt last night we didnt have a plan b in terms of our tactics which is down to the coach imo the games i have seen this year teams have sussed out sam tomkins coming into the line and flicking it out to the winger which has been our main form of attack. The amount of times menzies read this last night was un real. We really miss deacon at the moment his experience, skill and organisation is key for us.
Our performances have dropped since the absence of Deacon and dare i say Gleeson.
