Silverwood did his best for Saints

but fortunately the lads never gave up.
That's why we're champions!

When did a ball hitting a player in the face constitute a knock on?

:D :D :D

Lighten up fellers! The weather's beautiful, our fridge is full of goodies and we've just hit Saints in the guts in the 80th minute. Madge and Wane jumping up and down like 6 year olds. Thousands of happy Wiganers streaming home.
Life is good. Let's worry about weaknesses and failings another day!

Avoided the result all day.As soon as I got home I said to my wife I will have my tea after this game. And what a cracking game it was though I was bitting my nails at the end.I have often defended Finch because of lack of game time and recent injury.I am however fast running out of excuses for him. It's time he spent some time in the reserves or taking an early flight home.Otherwise it was a cracking game and the end result was worth waiting for.Massively impressed with the Hoff just sorry that he is not tied to a longer contract. And Lima Farrell for me over Lima every time. He's much more mobile and committed. :D

How many times have we read threads like this? Renouf, Richards, and many more. Unless he (finch) doesnt want to be here, I think it's just taking him to
E to settle in and gel with the team and plays.
I don't for one minute think that Madge would have signed him if he wasn't a class act. Hoffman's always singing his praises, saying he'll be excellent for us. I know it's really frustrating and very annoying, but I'm prepared to give him more time.

Not Silverwood's finest game but if he hadn't cottoned on to Stains delaying tactics and kept stopping the clock, we wouldn't have had those 38 seconds it took to break 5,000 North Stand hearts!!

To inflict upon your enemy a fatal wound when they're 30 seconds from victory.

Doesn't get much better than that
A midnight game I wouldn't have missed.
Finchy ? He seriously needs to sit down one on one with Madge & get whatever it is sorted.
Looked like he was running the Parramatta playbook ?

just a quick one
if you off load and it hits your own player in the face without it touching his hands etc, is that really a knock on????

To his credit Bourbon Rat, at least he didn't give away any interceptions!
