I'm not doubting the story, but weren't we told he'd turned down more money at Hull KR to sign for us, or was that just more Lenegan spin?

Willie Mason has shown that by walking out on Hull KR to play rugby in France. Maguire has shown the same by quitting Wigan to join the Rabbitohs.

Well that bit is certainly true and its already got beyond a joke in the game here long before Maguire quit and regardless of if there is anything in this regarding Finch.

Far too easy to get out of contracts meaning they are seemingly entered into with little real commitment in the first place.

A Wigan lad turn down a move to his home town club who happen to be the reigning champions ... I wouldn't have thought so

If Brett Finch has an offer on the table that means he wants back to Australia, then we should let him go - on the proviso that there's no compensation payment to him and South Sydney stumps up some of the cash for his rehab following his neck injury.

There's no sense keeping a player who doesn't want to play for the club.

STORM went through the same thing with Chase Stanley.Got injured in the second game of the season and is out all year. Storm are paying his medical bills and now he has signed up with the dragqueens for next 3 seasons. He has been with us for 2 seasons but has only played a handful of games because he always gets injured.not right in my books.Storm should get something out of him for all the medical bills we have paid for him
