Had Sam been stood up and taken a shot like that - then it would have been 4 matches - why should this be any different?

The only thing soap-on-a-rope raynor was trying to dislodge was Sam's head.

It robbed Wigan of their best player and the bulls of a second rate, never-was winger. Hardly a fair swap.

Anybody who doesn't think that was a red is a moron.

Last season when a couple of comments were made (stupidly) about maguire deserving his injury for blatant cheating; loads of fans got all hurty bottom about it, saying it was disgusting - I am betting that these are exactly the same people relishing the thuggery from raynor.

What annoyed me the most was the way that he seemed as though he couldn't care less afterwards - it's almost a pity that someone didn't give him a taste of his own medicine. Let's hope he gets some treatment next time we play them.

I put a post on Twitter yesterday saying the RL press are absolute cheating scum. That brought some total muppets out of the woodwork I tell thee.

Nice one Gaz, more should do the same and highlight how brutal the challenge was on sam and how it should be sevierly dealt with by the RL

I see that Raynor is charged withy grade B offence meaning no intent but reckless, what a joke the review panel are five Wigan players referred but none charged and in total out of about 22 referrals only Raynor goes to the full panel,this is clearly some tactic to put doubt into our players minds and stems from all the media and commentators hype.

I find it disgusting that a lot of comments on the various sites from other teams fans are saying that they enjoyed what happened, there not fans of the sport. I hope Sam comes back next week and runs riot, a cheap shot when there was no chance of catching Sam or the ball, should be at least 2 - 3 game ban, just hope he counts his lucky stars that he went off because Joel was gonna sort him by the look of him
