Absolute disgrace and sums up the mentality of Yorkshire people in general!

Re: Sam Tomkins
They even cheered when Meli upended him & dumped him on his head. Why a penalty wasn't given is beyond belief
I will at least give credit to Eddie Hemmings, he kept bringing the incident/s up regarding the morons from West Yorkshire
Even earlier in the game, can't remember which Exile player it was, nearly took his head off in a grapple tackle that seemed to go on for ages. Sam's not soft by any means, but even he gave the ref a look when eventually he shouted held!
I wonder how the RFL & the referee who is officiating a game at the time would feel if Sam got a serious injury because they are not giving him enough protection.
If it was Danny McGuire there would be uproar from those 'plankers' in the South Stand at RFL headquarters :sly:

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Sam Tomkins
Friend of mine at the game said it wasn't just Leeds speckys doing the booing. He also said there were a lot of people shouting out of order at the booers, which may have added to the volume being broadcast on TV. Still though, it was a surprise to me and something I've haven't witnessed before at any sport outside of football. Sad day really, when some of the nastier side of football comes into RL.
Only consolation is that if they are booing him, he's truly hurting them and long may he do so.

So disgraceful from these Mindless Morons. Fancy booing one of your team presuming you are supporting England.
At least Jamie Peacock thought so and said so. You really do wonder about the mentality of these people.
I was particularly disgusted at the Meli incident.
Next time play it at the DW.
