Just a nod to Harrison Hansen. He was immense last night. My MOM behind Sam T. Every tackle, every drive from him seemed to be performed with an extra 10% of oomph. He also sustained a bad gash on the back of his head, so much so that by the end of the game the claret was leaking through his headguard. He also dislocated a little finger, only to run straight to the sideline, have it put back in and carry on as if nothing had happened.
I know these guys are tough but he battled through like a true Warrior last night. Fantastic performance from him. Stevo noticed it too.

Re: "H"
Harrison is another success from our academy who has made it big & I am really thrilled for him. Gives his all every game & goes unnoticed most of the time.
Was the biggest hitter in SL a couple of years ago and it seems unbelievable that he has been playing in the first team for six years

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

He is one of the most under rated players (by our own fans) in the team. I have been a fan of his for a long time. There is one poster on rlfans who seems to have it in for him and actually started a thread saying the team had not missed him when he was out injured.josie andrews wrote:Harrison is another success from our academy who has made it big & I am really thrilled for him. How can you not miss a player who contributes so much? It's like saying we didn't miss Pat because we were still winning games :eh:

H is underrated for sure, i still love the way he held that ball after morley smashed hum last year at the wire.
Mossop is playing some stuff and as the years go on i think hes going to be a beast.
off topic also i thought Nathan Browns rating of Sean was spot on.

Its getting harder to remember a time when he wasn't part of the team. I've always been a big fan. He has a wonderful knack of pulling a try out of nothing!

I think his name must be one of the first on the team sheet.

25! at least we should have his amazing skill set for a good while longer!cherry.pie wrote:Hansen has really raised his game since Hock has returned to training. He's now in the form of his life in my opinion and if fulfilling the potential he always showed. He looks like being a very important player for the rest of the year.
Hansen has been playing in the manner you would associate with a very experienced player. He's got the know-how you'd expect from a battle hardened 32 year old forward and the enthusiasm of a 20 year old.
It's hard to think that he's one of Wigan's most experienced players and yet he's only 25!
