Maybe Mo was too soft to fan pressure!
But it kept the fans happy! It might not have turned out as he said but there would be an alternatives most of the time.
Im not agreeing with how its done now but us having a moan wont change anything his system may be frustrating but it works for him and his company.
If it works for him and his company and not the fans his company may suffer. It's a poor company that does not take customer (fans) views on board.
Top point, so what you are saying is lets employ a liar who can guess what will happen so long as its something the fans like.
Next point, his company is the best in Super League, coincidence, I think not!
The crowds this year look very healthy as does the opportunity to win silverware, shirt sales are also up we play on an excellent pitch with excellent facilities, there are more kids coaching camps, better marketing more incentives to help disabled people get to games fans forums continue as a listeniong and learning point we are seeing kids come through the youth development system, we are offering our youngsters 4-5 year deals, we are prepared to have unknown coaches (as MM was and SW if he takes the reigns) we are developing sports science quicker and more thorough than any club, the players have a good ethos oh and to finish we are top of the league!
Dave IL is no mug he knows what he is doing and IMO succeeding and taking the club to a new level!

The aim(s) of the Wigan Warriors Company is to win as much silverware as possible. However it does that (as long as it isn't acting illegally or immorally) shouldn't be a major concern. If the company delivers on its aim(s), we the customers (fans) are happy. End of.

It won't be able to do it unless it caries the fee paying fans with it.
And do you think given the way the competitions are structured these days the company can "deliver" year on year?
Do you not think it has already been decided and the players/staff know? Any new signings etc will be told who the coaching staff will be in my opinion.

I don't. We will have seasons where we win nowt.
How will the company deliver then?
There is far more to it than just winning.
Dave I think the easiest way to finish this thread and put it to bed is like this . . . .
. . . If you dont like the way IL runs HIS company DONT SUPPORT IT!
Ill continue to support it because I can understand where he is coming from, the club is moving forwards and is now actually turning a profit! Eh dave a profit can you belive that!

As long as the team is competing at the highest level and challenging for all the trophies, the players remain committed and the Club is run in a professional manner as it is at the moment, then I as 1 fan and probably along with many others will be more than happy. Having said that I have no doubt we will continue to win things for the foreseeable future under IL's reign.
Really DaveO is there far more than just winning? Winning makes everything else flow and gel alot easier in terms of players relationships, board relationships and club to fans relationships. Ok we might not win something 1 year but the way the club handles things at the moment in every aspect I would be more than willing to forgive as a supporter because I know people behind the scenes will work even hard to put it right.

I'm happy to think that its probably going to be Wane but the final decision hasn't been made. If someone comes along who is seen as better than Wane then we're better keeping our options open as long as possible. If they don't do this, another SL club ends up with a top coach we could have had and every single one of us moans that once again we've been beaten to a 'signing'. Wane is a Wigan fan and I'm sure he is aware of what's going on and will, more than likely be happy with the decision. He wouldn't have expected to be first team coach so soon anyway.
Like most people I am unconcerned by the lack of announcements. As a fan, my interest is mainly limited to performances.
