U20's v Wakefield

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors 44 Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 6

Try scorers

Jamie Acton, Logan Tomkins, Jonny Walker, Joe Mellor, Jack Murphy 2, Tom Spencer 2.

Goals Sam Powell 4, Scott Leatherbarrow 2

Eamon O'Carroll played for about 30 - 40 mins & did great. He got a rousing reception from the supporters & thoroughly deserved. Well done Freddy :)

Thought Tom Spencer and Jamie Acton were immense. Joe Mellor had a good game as well.

Don't want to sound cynical, but O'Carroll will never be good enough. Love his attitude, but will never be SL standard.

Agreed, he is simply too small for SL but why and when did Mellor come back from Widnes?

There hasn't been a game due to the Northern Rail final.

yes he did score four tries but if Liam would learn to pass more we would probably score more. IMO if Liam would pass more often instead of scooting he would become a better player. But like i say its only IMO.
