Barton, who is on the outer at Newcastle after attacking club management on Twitter, tweeted at the kick-off: ''Wigan V Saints, proper game…game on''. Cyclist Bradley Wiggins is also a rugby league fan and was at the game against stains, my mate spotted him walking from the ground and he confirmed who he was and said that he is a big Wigan fan.

Keane was at the Quarter Final against Wire, he was sat near the Chairman of Wire (Goes in our Local Cricket club) who said Keane was out of his seat shouting when charnley scored the length of the field try!
