Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Bit on BBC breakfast this morning

Only Madge and the players shown though.

I think the BBC has barred Josie

I saw that too, they must have pinched it from Granada as there wasn't any BBC cameras there yesterday.

They probably know I'm always complaining about the lack of rugby league coverage on the Beeb.

Wish ITV/Granada could get the CC I really do the Beeb have had a monopoly on it all this time & the coverage they give to our great sport is dire!!

I alwayas liked the Granada RL Coverage of the very late 80s / early 90s which had Clive Tyldsley IIRC and Brian Smith commentating.

Disgraceful, although in fairness to Wigan they have had at least two bits about Wigan.
Pat Richards and Andy Coley were in the Studio.

I do think they could have cameras seeing them off though.

What will be really interesting is what they have to say tomorrow. Probably concentrate on Saints or Wire woops! I meant Leeds. :conf: :conf:

I thought the ITV coverage was dire. The guy who was involved seemed to be more intertested in making sure his hair and shoulder pads looked ok!!
