We're not blaming the refs for our lowly position in SL, we were simply questioning hid decision not to put someone on report when scully was put on report for something similar. If godwin had broken through that tackle form the other guy, then Coley would have taken his head off as he couldnt see it coming, which is as equally dangerous as what scully did.

Another thing is orr, his hamstring cannot be causing him this much trouble to miss so much of a season and surely if it is we should have sent him to see a specialist about it?

i thaught hargreaves done well when he was on the pitch yesterday made some good yards and a good few offloads. Why not give him ago? Also Its a bit unfair on scully thats how he runs he didnt have intent in that. Why didnt they put andy coley on report for a swinging arm on scully after that incident?
because he dosnt play 4 wigan :exc: :eh: :sly:
:o "Oh SHOCK"! The auld, "Wigan being hard done to by the ref", thread again hey! It really does become a little tedious, dont you think? It wont be long before every ref in SL will be responsible for your lowly position in the league, will it? Get it in to your heads that "EVERY" team in SL suffers from questionable decisions by the merry whistle-blowers,"NOT JUST WIGAN"! The sooner your players learn to stop winging every-time they feel hard done to, get on with it and concentrate on their own game, then the sooner they may start to climb the table! (Youre beginning to sound like Bradford)!
we do get ripped off by all the merry blowers im lead to beleive they were all rugby fans when we were great now they are all out to destroy us because of the pain we inflicted on them when they were kids

How can he get done when the guy puts his head there. Its his own fault in my book. Its like high tackles, you dont get penalised if he duck and rightly so....

Typical wire fan though!

Had one of our players been on the end of Coley's arm in the same tackle as Scully's reportable offence we'd all be calling for him to be banned.

I don't think the evidence is entirely conclusive, the Salford player did go in at a funny angle but Scully's elbow appeared to continue to move forward after contact was made implying intent. He definately appeared to lead with the elbow which is an offence.

After watching the incident a few times i still dont think scully has a case to answer. But the ref should have done something about the Salford player who connected with Rads not long after than. Watch that one again Rads was lucky not to have taken the full blow in the face.

Once again I find myself in agreement Rob. (AsI did with ref post).

Keep it up!

Its good to see that jj, Doug Stand, Daveo and myself have help to give you a broader, more enlightened look on the game as a whole.
