That would be okay29wes28 wrote:Its not someone who I would chose to sign and nor would I know where he will be played but obviously there must be some truth in this!

Re: Gareth Thomas
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Gareth Thomas
It really is a joke but more than likely true. Thomas is not a Wigan RL standard player and signing him is a complete waste of our time and energy given his age.
Re: Gareth Thomas
I personally cant really see how he can benefit us in any way, shape or form and really hope this is not true.cpwigan wrote:It really is a joke but more than likely true. Thomas is not a Wigan RL standard player and signing him is a complete waste of our time and energy given his age.
Incidentally could this be a term of Iestyn Harris' maybe Harris wants him as an assistant to himself for the Wales set up once he hangs his boots up?
Blah Blah Speculation Blah Blah still dont want him at our club!

Seriously hope this OAP is not part of our salary cap.
This is my first doubt of IL's decision making if it is true.
Re: Gareth Thomas
Apparently, the RFL pay his salary and have done so previously.

Re: Gareth Thomas
I'd much prefer the RFL paid Fui Fui Moi Moi's salary and let HIM play for us.cpwigan wrote:Apparently, the RFL pay his salary and have done so previously.
I'd definitely buy a home and away shirt then!
Re: Gareth Thomas
I've just checked my calendar as I thought I had got the wrong month but no, defo not 1st April but it might as well be if this is true
Going to be some team with him and Epalahame Lauaki in it.
Wonder what the odd's are on us re-signing Dennis Moran?

Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Re: Gareth Thomas
Can't see him playing any first team. Perhaps his experience and knowledge is being taken advantage of to help the juniors? (if this rumour turns out to be true).
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!
Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

If this is true then IMO the most famous club in Rugby League has sold itself into prostitution!
