Nothing hun - was just trying to lighten the mood as it seems like nothing but doom, gloom and aggro for the past few days at a time when we should all be celebrating a great win. See RLfans is still in maintenance mode presumably to keep all the trolls at bay

:eusa4: Sorry thought I'd missed something
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I can only thing the Wembley win bonuses must have been bigger than we think if this is the only centre signing we can afford. :(

GARETH Thomas is poised to become Wigan’s first signing for 2012

Is this our contribution to bringing on the youth policy at Wigan. After all Gareth is only 37. Our ability to spot the young and up and coming stars is admired by all the other clubs. What a briliant signing NOT :conf:

Personally I'm unable to see a valid reason for signing him but I'm just putting my trust in the chairman as he hasn't got much wrong so far. But I'd rather have allowed one of the younger players to make a push for the 1st team squad rather than sign someone who isn't that experienced at league and who is nearer 40 than 30!

GARETH Thomas is poised to become Wigan’s first signing for 2012.

It is understood he has been offered a one-year deal and is keen on a move to the DW Stadium, where he would link up with his current Crusaders and Wales national coach Iestyn Harris – who will be appointed Shaun Wane’s assistant next year, a move exclusively revealed by the Evening Post last month.
If this was going to be the MASSIVE announcement at the Crusaders game, I hope Mr L has something else up his sleeve!

I think Thomas should go to wignes, i cant see any place for him in our squad, id much rather we spent time looking for a class centre to unlock the full potential of charnley, thats not a dig at joel who's done a job but its a specialist position
Where is Wignes?
Its 11.25pm and ive had a few so am unable to detect whether this is a genuine question or your joining in on the joke but in case not Wignes would be widnes but ive heard it refereed to as Wignes due to the amount of wigan players who go there
