I think Thomas should go to wignes, i cant see any place for him in our squad, id much rather we spent time looking for a class centre to unlock the full potential of charnley, thats not a dig at joel who's done a job but its a specialist position

Re: Gareth Thomas
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

How do you think I feel when I have to keep moving new threads/posts on topics already covered :exc:Kittwazzer wrote:Do people not check existing threads before they post? :eusa17: :eusa17:

Re: Gareth Thomas
Just confirmed on Sky Sports News that he has signed for us.
Re: Gareth Thomas
I find this really bizare and opposite of what IL has ever said and done since he's been in charge.
Re: Gareth Thomas
Seriously what the eff is going on Madge hasn't left yet and were already buying sh*t players, he is a rah rah player and a liability people like bridge and shenton will be rubbing their hands together playing against him. Absolute joke, I've heard it's a publicity stunt to get Wigans name in to the film. He better not get anywhere near a Wigan 1st team place.
Up The Mont!
Re: Gareth Thomas
REMEMBER;
The RFL pay his contract so we get an extra player for nothing. Will he play for our first team? I doubt it bar friendlies etc, may sell Wigan to Welsh fans, young Welsh rugby players.

Re: Gareth Thomas
Makes you wonder what the new coach must think of this - whoever he might be :eh: I don't like to disrespect anyone but can you just imagine if GT were to play and make a less than favourable impression RLfans would implode from the rush of trolls and our poor coach would doubtless come in for some serious stick for having selected the player and there would be multiple calls for "Coach" Out!
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Re: Gareth Thomas
The new coach together with input from Madge has been responsible for identifying the players he wants for next season.OJ wrote:Makes you wonder what the new coach must think of this - whoever he might be
One of the main reasons for our success has been the strength of our off field signings as much as any player we have signed. It doesn't take much for people to question Lenegan's judgement does it?
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."
