Sadly I have to say this is one we have lost.We look a jaded team the cc seems to have taken it's toll on us.Well played to the Wolves though.A reluctant well played to the Wolves.
Wire are a very good team. There are only so many plays and set in 80 minutes and Wire came out from the start playing stronger, faster and smarter. They are in pole position but a victory at Hull is not a given. If they win the League, they deserve to win the GF but that's my thought process.
To the rest of the world, only the CC ties matters and I well remember Tony Barrow's Wire regularly beating Wigan in the league games BUT never when everything was on the line. Sadly, iop of the league only matters to me and a minority.
Very interesting comments by Tony Smith at the end. I concur that Wire changed their game plan. The problem is that both Wire and Wigan looked average when moving the ball so v Aus/NZ what either produce is not good enough.

Quite agree. His temperament was an issue raised by several posters prior to the CC.We really do need his services in the play-offs.Does anyone feel that we need to introduce some fresh blood over the next few week ie Marsh,Roberts,Gouldin,O'carrol.Because the lads certainly look very tired today. It's a big ask of the boys to step up today when the wire lot have had the luxury of a weeks rest.Don't get me wrong because I most certainly am not being critical of the boys after the season we have had. This is not our usual performance and do not expect to see the likes of it again. Revenge is sweet and this should only serve to motivate the lads.
The stupidity of Hock is that we benefit hugely from his good points but there is no place for gouging. Maybe it's me but I consider gouging, biting, spitting far worse than social drug use or giving the v signs to fans.
