South Stand Fan
Sorry people, have had to delete this topic, his sons are as yet unaware of what has happened

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not sure if this is the right way to put a link on sorry.
Mark Evans was a member of Chorley Panthers and will be very sadly missed. Deepest sympathy goes to his wife and 2 sons
Thanks Josie for your help x

Re: South Stand Fan
having seen him taken down the steps on the chair last night, i knew at that point it didn't look good. To be snatched away from life so suddenly, it's tragic. Everything else pails into insigificance.
Heart felt sympathies go out to his wife & sons. May Mark rest in peace wearing Cherry & White forever more.
On a site note, it is humbling to see the posts on RLFans from numerous different clubs, including several Warrington fans who embarked onto the Wigan board last night to gloat at the LLS win, and were pulled back to earth with a bump and posted awesome posts of sympathies, they could've gloated regadless, but showed a beautiful colour which, in itself, demonstrates that club rivalries vanish at times like these. The RL Family is still strong.
