I was talking to a few Cas fans last week and they said Chase had signed a new 2 year deal and the only problem was a visa.

Which according to his agent Danny Orr is actually incorrect.

He signed the contract extension at the end of 2009 and it ends in 2013 (hence the remaining 2 years that need to be bought out if any move is forthcoming). However, and this is the big one, if he is cleared to play again with another visa/work permit after admitting the assault charge and after receiving a suspended sentence is another question - so Castleford may be forced to release him anyways

Additionally he is not too enamored with the prospect of being coached by Millward (who I am led to believe was given the Castleford job by someone off the board of directors with the chairmen on holiday and no-one else having any knowledge of :eh: )

I'm totally lost in all this too, but assume that warrior49 knows Kitwazzer in some capacity and is "baiting" him :doz:

If he does, he has an advantage over me. In my world, a gob iron is a harmonica! :)

Lol, he must be moving then. The denial of a rumour is about as honest as a chairman giving his manager his backing

This rumour seems to have dried up. Guess he won't be coming to Wigan........shame IMO.

That's that then.

Shame. I'd have loved to see him at Wigan.
