With the latest TV deal Latics will be turning over nearly £50m this season, we are doing £5m when at the top of our game. In relegation the club will be guaranteed £30m parachute payments over a three year period, they are attempting to increase revenue as seen with the recent £6m deal (shared with Everton, Stoke and WBA) with an Asian beverage company and have targeted an 18,000 average this season and 20,000 in the not too distant future.onedego wrote:Awwwww :eusa1:
Who knows, this may be the start of something different... Perhaps if there's a clash of fixtures next year... Maybe, just maybe, latics will be asked to move it! We all know that Davey Boy Whelan likes his pictures of The Queen, and if Warriors are pulling in more wonga than Latics...

Pitch maintenance alone is £100,000 yet we pay only £197,000 to rent the stadium which gives an idea of how good our deal is.
This week Whelan confirmed the club is entirely debt free, £40m has been placed as shares. Whelan has pledged the club will be sold to new owners for anominal fee given guarantees to invest, Martinez is also tasked to reduce the wage bill significantly to end yearly losses and generate a profit which he has almost completed.
The stadium is in the process of being transfered to Latics at which stage they, or correctly the new owners, can implement their own rules, regulations and pricing so long as it complies with our contract. A £7m training complex is also in the planning stages after the purchase of Christopher Park.
BTW, if we lose to Saints it's possible the following weeks game will be moved as Latics are at home to Spurs.
