Do player give up??

Post by highland convert »

Just catching up on Leeds Hull. Watching again a refereeing imballance. Seemingly obvious problems going to the other side. Thaler was having a good game until it looked like Hull were on the way back. Then a couple of unbelievable decissions let Leeds in for another try. Then decission after decission going against. Do players feel this pressure and ask what is the point. We have seen the worst of the refs this weekend but in the end is the finals being orchistrated or is the refs so bad.

I have my suspicions that the refs are working to the RFL agenda. Certain teams were never destined to go to Old Trafford from the get go!

I get a lot of "raised eybrows" at work whenever I bring up this subject but I am CONVINCED that the RFL use the referees for their own aims.

And this isn't simply "they are against Wigan" (although I will say that it was made pretty clear against Warrington who was "supposed" to win the league - note that fat Nigel Wood "congratulating" Warrington's win in a press release and it was clear Saints were the favoured team to get a week off after yesterday ;-P) but the refeeres are used to change games or attempt to keep them on an even keel.

I have lost count of the amount of times that a team races into a 12 point lead but then suddently starts conceeding penalties that let the other team back into it.

Leigh were robbed in the Challenge Cup because Catalans were the favoured ones.

It's a disgrace.

Last time I checked no-one had ever paid money to watch a professional sporting event to see the referee. Ganson and his friends must think otherwise.

Huddersfield started well, full of fire, then 7 penalties in seven minute (soft) by Ganson and they seemed to get the message. Don't tackle cos I will have you. Virtually everyWire tackle was rond the neck but the whistle stayed silent. Coley waits a call while Carvell who was ten times worse walks free. We wait and see. Fans pay money to watch this. The dont want fixed ties. Cats was a good game to watch even if the score was one sided it was decided on true RL. Jim
