Man of Steel goes to.....

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

At least it went to an "Englishman" this year
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

So that's why he was made an honorary English man this morning. So we can't say Sam was beaten by a foreigner.

I dare say that Sam's Wembley V episode did him no favours and is probably the reason he was pipped to the post. He needs to knuckle down and just let his playing do the talking next season and he'll walk it. Roby was never in it IMO.

Typical Rugby League, trying to be different and not just choose the best of the best.

Its hard for me to say this, but my opinion is...

Team of the Year : Warrington, as they were the best.

Player of the year : Monaghan, not even shortlisted shows how crazy this award was.

Coach of the Year : Tony Smith, if madge hadn't won it last year we would have gone mad.

Young player of the year : any of the Saints lads, as they have all done well.

Knob of the year : Eddie Hemmings, sorry an award i would like to see.

Chase was a good player in a poor team, didn't make the play offs so shouldnt have stood a chance. Man of Steel, seriously, thats why nobody wanted him and he had to sign a new contract at Cas.
