Okay Sorry A&L

Comeback at Leeds for obvious reasons, we didn't deserve it but still shut that Leeds bunch up!

Saints away because I believe it was our best performance in the league this year and it was a great atmosphere.

Wemebeley, again for obvious reasons.

Wire in the QF, best we'd played all year and told me that we had the CC in the bag.

It's good to have an end to journey towards, but it's the journey that matters in the end.

Mine was the moment Ganson pressed the button to determine whether Leuluai scored at Wembley... the instant noise was terrific - we had won our Cup

Three things stand out for me.

1. Winning the Challenge cup. Gosh we did it the hard way with Sam KO'd at Bradford, then beating both the Wire and then Saints in Warrington - previously a bogey ground for us. When Joel broke away at Wembley I knew it was ours after far too long a gap.

2. Liam Farrel's try at the death on Good Friday. What a great game and what a tribute to the old enemy that the game was played to the best standards and in honest sporting traditions.

3. Taking the heat from the ill mannered fans in Leeds. To see them giving such flak to one on 'their' side in the Exiles match was an embarrassment for Rugby League's otherwise great traditions. But the great Wigan fans stole their thunder and made the boo-boys look as ignorant and bigoted as they were.

Been having a think -sad - but just doing the try of the season at the minute and Josh's try v Huddersfield where he announced himself to RL fully... a perfect kick by O'Loughlin and Charnley dove over. Pinpoint accuracy.

Also Hock's flick pass to allow Richards to score. World Class.

For me, being at Wembley was one of the highlights of my life, never mind 2011!! It was the first League match I've ever been to, and what a memorable one to pick!

Joel's try was probably the best part, especially as my wife, who'd never watched a rugby match in her life, was on her feet shouting "go on Joel"!

The other hightlight for me refers to a conversation with my dad the week before about our betting habits on first try scorers. I'd said "what odds would you get on Lima scoring any time? About a 1000/1 cos he won't score as long as he's got a hole in his a**e"!!! My dad's text coming through during the final saying "What was that about Lima?" memorable!!

Apart from Wembley, Faz v Saints. Charnleys all round performance against Wire first time round when he was kicking. And Sam's 'planking'!!

Highlights....1.The Warrington players faces when we knocked them out of the challenge cup.
2. The same players faces when Leeds knocked them out of the Grand final.
3. The plonker in a suit at Leeds doing a war dance when
he thought they had beaten us (April I think)....then when we drew,he vanished.
4.Us winning the Challenge Cup.
5.Finch and Lima finding their form
6.Hock's return.
7.James Graham throwing a hissy fit each time a decision went against them

Lowlights.....1.Madge and the Hoff leaving
2.Hock's brain explosion ie "gouging"
3.Getting knocked out of the Grand Final by you-know-who
4.Sam not getting MOS.
:eusa17:

But the highlights made the lowlights more bearable
Roll on 2012 :eusa3:
